Our last wedding of 2014….bitter sweet. I say that because we LOVE taking pictures together & along with this job comes lots of weddings. I mean lots. Every weekend we get to participate in one of the most meaningful ceremonies/celebrations of a couples life in an up close and personal way. So in a way, it feels unnatural to not have a wedding to shoot for months at a time during the wet cold season in the PNW. But we do enjoy getting weekends back for a little while so we can spend time with friends & working on house projects that get neglected.
Getting to shoot friends weddings is such a privilege. It means a lot to us that Burt & Leslie asked us! It has been awesome to see their relationship grow into something so strong and powerful. And there wasn’t a dry eye in the house during the ceremony. The place was just bursting with joy.
We’ve been looking forward to this wedding for months. It was extra special for us because we were reminiscing all day about our own wedding which was held at the same church and reception hall! And what a great way to end our 2014 wedding season than with close friends that we love! We even got to boogie a little bit at the reception! (Definately no pics of that though.) Congrats you two lovebirds!
