There are a lot of things that made this day special and unique. Travis & Kriselle knew they wanted to elope in the San Juan Islands, after falling in love with the islands last year on a little trip they took out there together. They’ve seen a lot of the world, but this place, as many of us know, is just special. They settled on Orcas Island (our personal favorite), and found the sweetest little cabin, property, and hosts you could imagine. Spring Bay Inn is literally one cabin on it’s own personal miniature bay. So beautiful. Orcas Island Elopement
For this elopement, I (Stefan) was the only one who shot it. Audrey couldn’t make it, and we pretty much never split up like that, but it just worked out that way on this particular day. Travis & Kriselle were on board with it, so we made it happen! The day consisted of a sweet little ceremony, (despite the crazy wind, which may or may not have blown Travis’ hand written vows away), some champagne toasts, and an incredible meal full of locally sourced goodies. We caught a sunset for a few portraits, and I hopped on the ferry home. Pretty honored to have been a part of it, and can’t say enough about the beauty of this place, and the wonderful hospitality that Travis & Kriselle showed me. Orcas Island Elopement
