If you’re anything like us, you have a bucket list that’s so long, it’s probably never going to be conquered. We think it’s at least worth trying to chip away at your list, and for us, Tahiti/Mo’orea has been at or near the top for quite a few years now. Enter 2020. The pandemic shut our typical travel down, but we also added a baby to the mix, so travel probably wouldn’t have been our thing in 2020. But after being home for about 10 straight months, having a baby who was doing well, and having a willing Grammy to watch our little boy while we were gone, we pulled the trigger and hopped on a plane to Tahiti.
Other than Tahiti having a very streamlined and effective Covid testing procedure, one of the other reasons it worked out so well is because we checked in with a few places we wanted to stay to see if they needed some photography services, and we ended up working something out with a place that we really loved. (Robinson’s Cove Villas) We highly recommend checking them out, and maybe adding the place to your bucket list! 🙂
We hope you enjoy these images from one of the most incredible places we’ve ever experienced! Mo’orea was clean, the beaches were pristine (though there were few large public beaches) and the weather in January, despite it being the wettest month on average, was near PERFECT every day for us.
Stick around for the video we made at the bottom of this post!!!🌴
Oh and MagWorld interviewed Stefan about the trip! A full article with more details is here: https://www.magnificentworld.com/things-to-do-in-moorea/
Here’s the road leading to, and some photos of Robinson’s Cove Villas! We stayed in Villa Wallis, and it was the perfect beach house right on the edge of Opunohu Bay.
Thanks for coming along for the ride! Here’s a video we made that we think is pretty fun as well!
