Chris & Rachel | Elopement | Orcas Island

It’s kind of funny – Chris & Rachel found us by Googling “Orcas Island Elopement” – and one of our past blogs came up! They liked what they saw, and they even got married at the same place as where that blog was from, The Inn at Ship Bay! Needless to say, we LOVE Orcas Island, and a sweet little elopement out there is ALWAYS right up our alley. And we knew from Chris & Rachel’s engagement session that they were going to be a blast to hang out with, so we hopped on the ferry and had an amazing afternoon with them. The eagles and vultures were hanging out all afternoon, photobombing and making a ruckus, but we didn’t mind at all! Chris & Rachel exchanged vows on the bluff, with just their parents as witnesses. We then drove up Mt. Consitution for some photos and had the whole mountain to ourselves. (One of the benefits of eloping on a weekday I suppose!) We love intimate, relaxed days like this. It was a great change of pace for us, and it was so meaningful to watch as Chris, Rachel, and their family embrace this new chapter in their lives.
