BEST OF 2016

Was 2016 the year we found our stride as photographers? Many have asked us “what’s next?” for us, and “if this was THE year”. Honestly, we have no idea. We’re just trying to keep both hands on the steering wheel while going 100mph. 2016 was… how do we put this… complete insanity. We shot 28 weddings, we visited Guatemala, Kauai, Iceland, the Big Island, Oregon, and Oahu, we shot 30+ engagement and family sessions, we both worked day jobs, and that’s not to mention attempting to hold down relationships, other obligations, and still have time for editing all those photos and sleeping. Let’s just say the yard didn’t get much love and attention this year. But, seriously, we saw some incredible places and met some incredible people. We thought we’d put together some of our favorite images from the year to recap. We are more proud of some of these images than we ever have been about our work. These photos don’t even scratch the surface of everything we photographed and did, and there are tons of missing photos, but we had to at least try. Cheers to 2016.
