Grant & Marissa | Adventure Session

Remember that really hot week back in the middle of August? This happened during that week. And if you aren’t one who goes into the mountains often enough to know, it really isn’t much cooler up there on an 80+ degree day. It’s seriously gorgeous, but to do much hiking, is a mega sweat guarantee. Grant & Marissa were troopers though, and with a few breaks in the shade, and a dip into a very cold alpine lake at the end of the hike, we found a good balance. The adventure this day turned out even more exciting though when Grant decided to pull out a ring, and pop the question to Marissa!!!! Grant had secretly emailed us beforehand, just letting us know to be ready for it at some point, and he waited until the end, on a cute little bridge after they had been in the water! It was so perfect!
