A freezing cold proposal in New York City’s Central Park, a freezing cold and wet mini-session back home in Washington at Mt. Baker, and a perfect, warm fall evening on the coast with Brent’s freshly rebuilt ’68 Pontiac GTO. Whew. Talk about some adventures.
As some of you know, Brent is Audrey’s brother. So obviously, these two are special to us. And it was kind of odd to be taking pictures of them, since we usually just hang out, but we pretty much forced them to just accept the fact that we are going to take their photos whether they enjoyed it or not. 🙂
Stefan had a separate corporate photoshoot in New York City last January, and when the opportunity presented itself for Audrey to join up and do a little sightseeing, we jumped at the chance. And since Brent was planning on proposing to Briley soon, but didn’t know exactly how or where, the idea of coming to NYC with us and doing it there came up, and he jumped at that chance! Long story short, they got engaged much to her surprise in Central Park, and we snapped a few photos out and about while we were sightseeing later that day! It was a mean 15-25 degrees or so outside with a stiff wind, so things were just a bit chilly. Such a great trip though, and a great memory we were so happy to be able to witness.
Back at home and later this summer, we knew we wanted to do some more photos with them, so we took them up to Mt. Baker and shot in the again, FREEZING temps (go figure), this time with pouring rain. And then a week later, the sun came back out and we took Brent’s restored ’68 GTO for a drive to be included in the last set of photos. Needless to say, after each of these three photo sessions, we always found some delicious food afterwards. We love you two! Thanks for letting us poparazzi your faces.
