How do we… Where do I start… Umm… … … Ok, so this was fun. RREALLY fun. As in, the kind of thing we’ve been working towards ever since we started photography. We’ve spent years “chasing the dream” and working towards getting better and better so we can someday travel as wedding photographers, and then THIS opportunity falls into our lap just three weeks prior to the wedding date back in May! When I told Audrey excitedly about the email we had received, she started jumping up and down in our living room. It was a whirlwind trip, (we left for the airport just hours after finishing up Travis & Trisha’s Wedding), but we made it, and couldn’t have asked for a better day, a better couple, or a better location.
MAUI! Some of you know, this is our spot. Our favorite place. So we had been dying to take a bride & groom to a few of our favorite spots, and finally we had the chance to! And, as unbelievable as it may seem, we were able to head BACK to Maui only a few weeks later for TWO MORE weddings! Unreal. Keep your eye out for those in the near future.
Lance & Makenna were just so easy to work with, clearly photogenic, and when everyone’s in Maui, er’ybody’s happy. So like I said, it was real fun. Not sure what else to say but thank you to Lance, Makenna, and all the Weeks & DeZeeuw families for having us! We are blown away that we were able to be there for this!
(If you or someone you know is planning a Hawaiian (or somewhere else tropical) wedding, seriously, contact us. We’ll make it very affordable for you. 🙂 )
