Nathan & Sarah | Wedding

Stefan & I had reached our quota on how many shoots we could take on for the year of 2013.  Running on fumes, we barrelled on through the end of the year, pumping out weddings left & right.  “I can see the end!”…than I got a sweet email from my friend Sarah, and I just had to re-evaluate the original plan of taking on no more work.

The small cozy ceremony took place at Sarah’s mom’s house just before Christmas.   An early morning wedding, nothing fancy; relaxed, and back to the basics.  The entire house was decked out with winter wonderland goodness!  (Have we mentioned how CRAZY we are for Christmas!?)  We were welcomed with big smiles, hugs, and the smell of coffee & cinnamon rolls.  A wedding party of four and a small handful of guests we all snuggled into the living room in front of the warm fireplace & witnessed two beautiful people become one.

These are the weddings we get really excited about!  Weddings where we can learn everyone’s names & get to know the couple & their families.  Weddings that are intimate, focused on Christ, & what true deep love really looks like.  Weddings that make our throats tense up & eyes water despite just meeting them.  These are the moments we as photographers live for.

Nathan & Sarah thank you thank you thank you for chance to capture these perfect moments.  This gets us excited about what we do all over again.  Your wedding was the perfect way to end our year! The snow was pretty great touch as well!
