Matt & Anita | Sunrise Session | OAHU

Usually, after a long day of travel, waking up at 4am the next morning doesn’t sound all that appealing. This day though, it did. We had landed in Oahu the evening before, and in the morning we had set up a sunrise shoot with Matt & Anita since we don’t live near them and never got to do a standard engagement session. But, come on, a sunrise shoot on a quiet private beach in Oahu sounds like a pretty decent alternative, don’t you think? 🙂 We were pretty stoked about it. Anita had been coming to this beach for a long time, since she grew up not far from it in Honolulu. We drove across the island, coffee in hand, and got there before dawn. Aside from one other beach walker, we had the place to ourselves. It was so great getting to hang out with Matt & Anita a little bit before their wedding which was in just a few days!
