If you ever read our blogs, you know that we’re usually pretty big fans of just about every wedding we post. We gush, we say how fun it was, etc. YOU GUYS. IT’S THIS WEDDING WE’VE BEEN DREAMING OF ALL ALONG! Let me set the stage here for you. San Juan Islands Wedding

Location: Lummi Island. A small, quiet, (as in no gas stations or “real” stores) island that you take a small 15 car ferry to, just outside of Bellingham, WA. // People: The sweetest parents, the kindest and happiest couple, and a bunch of helpful and generous friends and family. A bridal party that knew how to have fun. // Weather: 72 and sunny, slight breeze off the ocean. // Other: Stylish, in love, and photogenic couple, flexible and relaxed timeline for the day, plenty of time for portraits, great BBQ.

We feel like maybe it’s a good time to mention how much we love shooting in the San Juan Islands. And for that matter, just visiting the San Juan Islands. Taking the ferry out to an island will slow you down and relax you unlike anywhere else can without flying to the tropics.
